Today, December 3, NATO foreign ministers will meet in Brussels. On the eve of the meeting, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiga said that inviting our country to the Alliance would eliminate one of Russia’s main arguments in waging war, namely, preventing Ukraine from joining NATO.
However, as Reuters reports, members of the bloc are unlikely to listen to Kyiv and issue an invitation today. The diplomats, speaking on condition of anonymity, explained that there is currently no sign of the necessary consensus among NATO's 32 members.
