NATO chief warns Trump of 'dire threat' from Ukraine peace plan
In his opinion, forcing Ukraine to a bad peace treaty with Russia will strengthen the position of Iran and China.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte warned Donald Trump that the US would face a “dire threat” from China, Iran and North Korea if Ukraine was forced to make concessions to end its war with Russia.
In an interview with the Financial Times, Rutte stressed that Ukraine needs a “good deal” in negotiations with Russia and called on the United States to continue military support. He said forcing Ukraine into an unfavorable peace would only make the West's enemies “rejoice” and begin plotting their own attacks.
