A high alert regime is being introduced in the Kirov region. This became known during an operational meeting of the regional government.
On Tuesday, December 3, the governor of the Kirov region signed a decree introducing a high alert regime in the region. During the meeting, officials received warnings about unfavorable weather conditions: snow and rain, swell, sleet, freezing rain, strong winds.
The head of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Alexey Anikin confirmed the information. According to him, the weather will worsen on Tuesday, December 3, and persist the next day. The regional RSChS subsystem has been transferred to high alert mode. The population has been notified.
