The so-called Russian oppositionist Ihor R. was detained on July 29 this year in Katowice. The court decided to take him into custody for three months on suspicion of creating an immediate threat of an event that threatens the life and health of many people and especially large amounts of property in the form of an explosion of explosives. In October, the term of detention was extended for another three months – until January 27, 2025.
Ihor R. – a Russian activist who moved to Poland and studied in Katowice. In addition, he received refugee status in Poland.
