The Servant of the People called for the rapid adoption of a law on the completion of power units of the Khmelnytsky NPP

It is necessary to pass a law as quickly as possible that will allow the completion of the construction of two power units of the Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant.

This was stated by MP Anatoly Kostyukh from the Servant of the People in a commentary to RBC-Ukraine.

According to the deputy, this project is a historical chance for Ukraine. The plan will be implemented jointly with partners from the United States and the EU, without the use of budget funds – exclusively through loans and Energoatom's own resources.

“Thanks to this law, we will be able to put into operation two power units with a total capacity of 2.2 GW. This is the cheapest type of energy, and all nuclear power plants belong to the state. The nuclear power plant is a guarantee of a stable power supply in Ukraine,” he emphasized…
