Andrey Sibiga, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said how much more air defense Ukraine needs – UNIAN

The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry calls on NATO member countries to help Ukraine avoid blackouts this winter and strengthen Ukrainian air defense systems.

Ukraine needs at least 20 additional Hawk, NASAMS or IRIS-T air defense systems to protect critical infrastructure from Russian missile attacks.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga will take part in the ministerial meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council.

Sibiga said that among the main topics of negotiations with NATO allies will be immediate military assistance, investment in the Ukrainian defense industry, support for Ukraine's energy system in the winter and progress on Ukraine's path to NATO.
