The creation of a new NATO command center to coordinate training and security assistance for Ukraine is significantly behind schedule. Bloomberg writes about this with reference to its sources.
As the newspaper notes, a NATO center for providing security assistance and training for Ukraine was supposed to open in Wiesbaden, Germany, this fall with 700 employees.
“Instead, the center is still growing its workforce with several hundred people on staff. Many positions still remain unfilled as countries are slow to send promised personnel,” sources told the publication.
