Former Saryarka coach heads the new club – Hockey

Latvian coach Peteris Skudra headed the Slovak hockey club “MHC 32” from Liptovsky-MikulasaSports.kz reports with reference to Delfi.lv.

Since January 2022, Peteris Skudra worked in Kazakhstan, where until the spring of 2023 he headed Saryarka from Karaganda. In the 21/22 season, Saryarka became the champion of Kazakhstan, and in the 22/23 season they won the regular season, but were eliminated in the semifinals.

For the last year and a half, the Latvian specialist has not coached teams and has been unemployed. Before Saryarka, Skudra coached Kontinental Hockey League clubs for several years – Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo, Chelyabinsk Traktor and one season Riga Dynamo.
