MP said whether Georgia could become an example of protests against the Russian Federation – UNIAN
Merezhko notes that the collapse of Russia as an empire is inevitable.
A lot of protest potential has accumulated, using the example of Georgia, against Russian domination on the territory of the Federation; it is “a matter of time.”
Alexander Merezhko, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation, said this in a commentary to UNIAN.
Answering the question of how the events in Georgia will end and how they affect Ukraine, the parliamentarian noted that the people of Georgia have not come to terms with “an attempt to change course towards Russia.”
