He had already gotten into a scandal before – he insulted the mother of the deceased hero by saying about her son: “So what, he died.”
In Volyn, there was a conflict between a UOC MP priest and a local resident whose brother died in the war.
This is reported by the local publication “Kovel Media”.
The incident happened in the village of Voloshy, Kovel district. According to eyewitnesses, the priest prevented the representative of the project organization from surveying the plot of communal property. The published video shows that during the conflict, the priest hit the woman in the face, and then attacked other people with kicks.
Supporters of the UOC MP priest claim that he was provoked to such actions, and he himself assures that he was beaten.
