In the Japanese city of Akita, a bear broke into a supermarket and attacked one of the workers. It took two days to catch him.
According to CNN, during this time the animal managed to explore the meat department and damage several shelves. Law enforcement officers found him using a drone and then entered the building wearing protective gear.
The bear was in a warehouse, so store workers lured it out with a trap containing honey and apples. The animal was caught on Monday, December 2. He was put to sleep.
It is noted that the number of bear attacks has increased this year in Akita Prefecture. This is explained by the fact that climate change is affecting the flowering and pollination schedule, which forces bears to look for food in cities.
