A man robbed an eight-year-old child on the street in Kirov on December 4

In Kirov, the circumstances of the robbery committed against a child are being established. The details of the case were shared by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kirov region.

On Tuesday, December 3, in the Novovyatsky district of Kirov, an eight-year-old boy was returning from school with his brother. On Ordzhonikidze Street, a stranger approached them and demanded that they give up their phone. The boys did not resist. They called their mother from the second smartphone and reported what had happened.

The woman contacted the police. The robber was found. He turned out to be a 34-year-old unemployed local resident. After the crime, he handed over the phone to a thrift store. The property was returned to its rightful owners. The inspection materials were sent to the Investigative Committee of Russia. The issue of initiating a case is being decided.
