The defenders of Mariupol received diplomas from the French culinary school — Ukraine
Three defenders of the City of Mary – Denys Dyatchenko, Yevhen Khazan and Vitaly Ageev – successfully completed the cooking course at the French school “Cuisine Mode d'Emploi(s)” and received diplomas. The training took place under the leadership of chef Thierry Marks, owner of a Michelin star.
For two months, the defenders mastered the art of French cuisine and baking, learned the basics of restaurant business. In addition to theory, they had the opportunity to practice in the “La Cantine” restaurant.
Rinat Akhmetov's project “Heart of Azovstal” supported the defenders. Thanks to this support, the defenders of Mariupol have learned a new profession that will help them adapt to civilian life after their service.
In addition to defenders, the new profession in France was mastered by immigrants from Mariupol, in particular representatives of small businesses, the youngest participant of the course was 18 years old.
