Cruelty to animals – a case was opened against three agricultural workers in Ternopil Oblast — Ukraine

The day before, footage of a group of people mocking wild boars was published on social networks. Yes, in one video they are being chased by agricultural machinery, in another they are being beaten with a stick. Law enforcement officers have identified persons involved in animal cruelty.

This is reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Ternopil Region.

As detailed by the Association of Animal Protection Organizations of Ukraine, there is information about another unpublished video in which the same herdsmen tied a pregnant female boar to a tractor by its legs, dragged it across the field, and the fetuses of her unborn boars flew out of it.

“When they untied her, she, crippled, tried to escape by crawling. But that did not stop the men. They chopped off her paws alive,” animal rights activists stated.
