The Council liquidates KRAIL and introduces new rules for gambling.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted draft law No. 9256d in its entirety, which provides for a number of important changes in the gaming industry. 239 people's deputies voted for the document.

The main changes that will come into force

Liquidation of KRAIL (Gambling and Lotteries Regulatory Commission) Instead of the current body, a new structure will be created by April 1, 2025, which will be responsible for policy-making in the field of gambling business and lotteries.

Restricting access to illegal gambling sites: A mechanism for blocking access to illegal websites and mobile applications is being implemented.

Prohibition of gambling advertising: Advertising is prohibited, except on TV and radio at night, as well as on media platforms for people over 21…
