Ukrainian singer Anastasia Prykhodko criticized “Eurovision” and stated that she was against Ukraine's participation in the international competition.

The artist says that, of course, as an artist she supports the participation of Ukrainians in competitions of this level. In particular, it develops culture and makes it possible to once again declare Ukraine on the international stage. However, according to Prykhodko, there is one significant “but” because of which “Eurovision” has no meaning now.

“As a person from the cultural front, I have to say now: “Yes, definitely (Ukraine needs Eurovision – ed.), this is the development of our culture.” But, by and large, we don't really need it. It doesn't have any meaning at all,” said the performer in an interview with Nataliya Vlashchenko.
