AMKR predicts a further decline in production, a decrease in import VAT and foreign exchange earnings in the event of an increase in the tariff for electricity transmission
ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog expects a further decline in the production of metallurgical products, as well as a reduction in VAT receipts on the import of raw materials by approximately 100-150 million hryvnia per month, and foreign exchange earnings by approximately 50-100 million dollars if the decision to increase the tariff for electricity transmission by 26% will be finally approved.
On November 13, the National Commission, which regulates the energy and utilities sector, adopted a draft resolution that provides for an increase in the tariff for electricity transmission services from 528.57 to 665.26 UAH/MWh from 2025 (+25.9% to the current tariff).
