The fight of the former world champion from Kazakhstan Sergei Lipinets (18-3-1, 13 KOs) against the undefeated British boxer Adam Azim (12-0, 9 KOs), reports Sports.kz.
At stake in the fight, which will take place on February 1, 2025 at Wembley Arena in London (UK), is the vacant International Boxing Organization (IBO) welterweight world title.
Sergei Lipinets fought his last fight in May 2024: in it he defeated Briton Robbie Davis Jr. (24-5, 15 KOs) by unanimous decision. As for Adam Azim, in October of this year he knocked out compatriot Ohara Davis (25-4, 18 KOs) in the eighth round.
