The law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on the possibility of resuming military service after the first voluntary desertion of a unit (SZCH) does not solve this problem in the Ukrainian army.
Maxim Zhorin, deputy commander of the 3rd separate assault brigade, emphasized this.
According to him, when indicating the number of those who have already returned to the army, one should take into account the numbers of new Ukrainian military personnel who “decided to take advantage of this opportunity thanks to this law.”
