Russia received good news from the IOC – Others

Executive Committee IOC proposed to re-elect the president as a member of the organization Russian Tennis Federation Shamilya TarpishchevaSports.kz reports with reference to Sport24.ru.

The re-election will take place in March 2025 at the 144th IOC session in Greece. In addition to the Russian, 9 more IOC members have been proposed for re-election to a new 8-year term, including the vice-president of the organization, Juan Antonio Samaranch Jr.

IOC members will be re-elected based on the age limit at the end of their term – 80 years for those elected before December 1999, and 70 years for those elected after that date.

Tarpishchev, who will be 77 years old when he is re-elected, has been a member of the IOC since 1994.
