The Verkhovna Rada – a decision on the introduction of a jury trial in Ukraine — Ukraine

It is about the project of the law No. 3843.

In the first reading, the Verkhovna Rada supported the draft law on the introduction of a jury trial in Ukraine. 232 deputies voted “for”.

People's deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko wrote about it.

“An important decision! This is a step towards restoring trust in the court and fighting corruption,” Goncharenko emphasized.

We will remind you that the Rada failed the scandalous law No. 10242, which caused a wave of indignation on the Internet. It deals with the establishment of criminal liability for unauthorized interference, sale or distribution of information processed in public electronic registers.
