Why can't you burn leaves, which is usually done in autumn? First of all, because the legislation of Ukraine prohibits to do this, because its combustion threatens the health of the population, as well as pollutes the air, water bodies and soil.

Violation of the law on burning leaves and remains of dry vegetation (under articles 77-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and 82 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) can result in a significant fine up to UAH 6120.
