The Armed Forces of Ukraine organized a counterattack in Kursk region of Russia, which enabled the Defense Forces to advance further.

The publication writes that as a result of the attack, tanks and other forces from at least three Ukrainian units (17th heavy mechanized, 21st mechanized and 80th assault assault brigades) advanced to the southern outskirts of the village of Dar'ino.
“The 21st brigade sent at least one of its German Leopard 2A6 tanks into battle, and the 17th – Soviet T-64 or T-72,” the journalists note.
