One of the most titled Ukrainian tennis players, Elina Svitolina, was offered 500 thousand dollars a year if she agreed to play for another country. She noted that this concerns “certain programs” with investment in athletes and their development, particularly in tennis. However, it is impossible to speak for Ukraine, in its case.
