Russia is trying to expand its medium-range missile production capacity
The expert talked about the development of rocket technology in Russia.
At six Russian enterprises engaged in the production of missiles of various types, including intercontinental ballistic missiles, capacity expansion work is ongoing.
Military expert, director of development of the information and consulting company Defense Express Valery Ryabykh told about it on the air of the Espresso TV channel.
“Accordingly, 25 missiles per year of a similar class is, quite possibly, the total capacity of the Russian defense industry at this stage for the production of missiles of a similar class,” Ryabikh said.
According to him, these rockets “did not appear out of thin air.” In order to go into serial production of such a tool, a lot of work needs to be done.
