Do warm-up and joint exercises for the whole body. After this, put the weights on the barbell. To prevent your hands from slipping, wear gloves or use chalk.
Place the barbell on a rack or use a Smith machine with the barbell set at shoulder level.
Starting position: stand straight, place your feet shoulder-width apart, the barbell lies on your back in the area of the shoulder blades, your back is straight, your buttocks are slightly tucked. Grasp the barbell with an overhand grip slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
