In 2025, work will begin to deepen the bottom of Vyatka from the Kama to Vyatskiye Polyany

The authorities of the Kirov region have reached agreements on dredging work on the Vyatka River. The details were shared in the press service of the regional government.

In the village of Medvedka, Nolinsky district, a meeting was held between Deputy Chairman of the Government Alexei Zherdev and Minister of Transport Alexei Petryakov with the head of the administration of the Volga basin of inland waterways Dmitry Bessmertny. During the negotiations, further dredging work on the Vyatka River was discussed.

Alexey Zherdev recalled that dredging of the river bottom began in 2023. The Kirov region is interested in continuing the process.
