The Russians shot six captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The occupiers once again committed a war crime — they shot unarmed prisoners of war.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the Russian occupiers shot six captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This is reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
“Under the procedural leadership of the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of war crimes that caused the death of prisoners of war (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the prosecutor's office said in a statement.
It became known that on October 23, 2024, during the offensive on the city of Selidove, the Russian military captured three Ukrainian soldiers. After some time, the occupiers shot the unarmed prisoners of war.
On November 1, during the assault on the fortifications of the Armed Forces in the same Pokrovsky direction, representatives of the Russian Armed Forces killed three more prisoners of war with automatic weapons.
