Nuclear safety and security at all three nuclear power plants controlled by Ukraine are maintained at the proper level, the IAEA reported.

Ukraine's three operating nuclear power plants (NPPs) have almost fully resumed electricity production after being sharply cut last week as a precaution due to attacks on the country's increasingly vulnerable power grid. This was announced by the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi.

It is noted that there are nine reactors at the Khmelnitsky, Rivne and South Ukrainian nuclear power plants, eight of which are currently operating, and one is in shutdown mode.
