The Russian aerobatics team “Strizhi” received the first batch of deeply modernized MiG-29SMT fighters. Russian media report this.
“On Thursday, December 5, a historic event took place for the Swifts: after theoretical and practical retraining, we overtook the first batch of MiG-29SMT,” the air group said.
Some Russian media note that this is a “celebration with tears in our eyes,” because in fact, the Swifts would like to switch to the much more modern MiG-35.
