Kazakh fighter Shavkat Rakhmonov (18-0) passed the mandatory weigh-in procedure before the fight with the Irishman Ian Garry (15-0), Sports.kz reports.
Rakhmonov showed 171 pounds (77.56 kilograms) on the scales. The welterweight limit is 170 pounds (77.11 kilograms), but a slight overweight is allowed for non-title fights. Weighing video can be viewed below.
The fight between Shavkat Rakhmonov and Ian Garry will take place on the morning of Sunday, December 8th. They will meet at UFC 310 in Las Vegas (USA, Nevada). Initially, Rakhmonov was supposed to fight at this tournament with American fighter Belal Muhammad (24-3), but the current UFC champion withdrew due to health problems.
