Air defense for Ukraine – is it possible to quickly get additional weapons

Ukraine is negotiating with a number of partners on the urgent transfer of air defense systems of various types.

Ukraine has identified a number of partner countries that have and could quickly transfer air defense systems that were not included in previously announced aid packages to strengthen the protection of Ukrainian critical infrastructure against Russian attacks.

This was stated at the briefing by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Heorhiy Tykhy, writes UNIAN.

He noted that several key topics were discussed during the visit of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiga to the NATO headquarters on December 3-4, but first of all additional military support and especially the strengthening of the air shield over Ukraine.
