Boxer of the Kazakhstan national team Zhazira Urakbaeva fought for reaching the final Asian Championship 2024which is taking place these days in Chiang Mai (Thailand), writes Sports.kz.
In the semi-finals of the weight category up to 52 kilograms, she met with Feruza Kazakova from Uzbekistan and lost by unanimous decision. Thus, Kazakova will compete in the decisive match, and Urakbaeva will receive bronze. Earlier today, Uzbekistan had already emerged victorious in one duel with Kazakhstan: Farzona Fozilova (48 kg) did not allow Aigerim Sattybaeva into the final.
