Increasing the tariff for electricity transmission will deprive Ukrainian products of competition,

A significant increase in the tariff for electricity transmission for non-domestic consumers, which was adopted by the National Energy Regulatory Commission, will make Ukrainian products uncompetitive in world markets, and will deprive Ukraine of investment attractiveness. This was stated by the executive director of the National Association of the Mining Industry of Ukraine Ksenia Orinchak.

“Electricity directly affects the livelihoods of mining companies. If the cost of production increases significantly, the industry will lose profitability. The fourth point of our Peace Plan says that together with our allies we will protect investments in the subsoil. But when the allies come here and see what we have tariff policy, they may not make investments, because the products will be uncompetitive,” she explained.
