Oleksandr Shovkovskyi's team single-handedly topped the Ukrainian championship standings.
“Dynamo” crushed “Alexandria” in the central match of the 16th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) of the 2024/25 season. The match at the Valery Lobanovsky Stadium in Kyiv ended with a score 3:0.
In the first half, “white and blue” hit the opponent's goal twice. In the 36th minute, Denys Popov opened the score in the meeting, closing the feed of Vitaly Buyalsky from a corner with his head.
In the 42nd minute, the capital club doubled its advantage. Vladyslav Vanat received a pass from Nazar Voloshyn and hit the far bottom corner.
In the second half, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi's team brought things to a rout. In the 55th minute, Vanat scored a double, using Mykola Mykhaylenko's assist.
