This Christmas tree was recognized as the tallest in the country. Its height reaches 29 meters, and its weight was 17 tons.
The strong wind caused the Christmas tree's support to collapse: the metal base could not withstand the load, so the tree fell to the ground. Fortunately, no one was hurt. Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene.
Currently, the weather conditions in Romania have worsened, as forecasters had warned the day before.
