Ukrainian banks are preparing restrictions on transfers — Money

The following banks plan to sign the memorandum: Oschadbank, OTP Bank, Privatbank, Pravex Bank, FUIB, Raiffeisen Bank and Universal Bank.

In the near future, seven large Ukrainian banks plan to sign a memorandum that provides for strengthening restrictions on card-to-card transfers.

This is reported by Forbes.

As the publication notes, earlier the National Bank had already introduced similar restrictions on P2P transfers, but the new initiatives of the banks provide for even tighter limits. In particular, they will apply to all types of transfers, including via IBAN.

It is planned to establish a limit on transfers from individual cards without confirmation of the source of funds, if the amount exceeds 100 thousand hryvnias per month. For customers with increased risk, this limit will be reduced to 50 thousand hryvnias.

Restrictions will apply to both international transactions and transfers…
