In Chiang Mai (Thailand) on Asian Championship Women's boxing finals have started, Sports.kz reports.
The first final session was opened by a fight in the weight category up to 48 kilograms between Farzona Fozilova (Uzbekistan) and Lin Chi Ngoc (Vietnam). The fight ended in favor of Fozilova by a split decision. Thus, she became the first gold medalist of the 2024 ChA in boxing, and the Vietnamese athlete received silver.
Let us remind you that in the semi-finals Farzona Fozilova defeated the representative of the Kazakhstan national team Aigerim Sattybaeva.
