The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Moldova summed up the results of the country's presidential elections held on November 3. The agency recognized the elections as valid, Radio Liberty reports.
It is reported that the voting results were won by the current head of state, Maia Sandu, supported by the Action and Solidarity party, which was supported by 930,139 voters.
At the same time, 750,430 Moldovan citizens voted for her main competitor, ex-Prosecutor General Alexandre Stoianoglo, who is supported by the Socialist Party of the Republic of Moldova.
