— You travel a lot. Does knowing Kazakh help you in Turkic-speaking countries?
— Unfortunately, I don’t know the Kazakh language. But I understand him more or less. Since Kazakhstan is a Russian-speaking country, there are two languages ​​there – Kazakh and Russian. And Kazakhs are very respectful towards Russians. And when they see you, they start speaking Russian to you. It’s a little difficult for me to learn Kazakh.

— When you are abroad, do you introduce yourself as Kazakh or Russian?
– I'm Russian. I say that I am Russian from Kazakhstan. My country is Kazakhstan, and my nationality is Russian.
