Kazakhstan's women's chess champion has been determined ahead of schedule – Chess

After 12 rounds Kazakhstan Championship Amina Kairbekova scored 9.5 points, 1.5 points ahead of her closest pursuers, Sports.kz reports with reference to SPORT+.

The final 13th round of the championship will take place today, December 11.

Amina Kairbekova, at the age of 11, won a bronze medal at the World Youth Championships in Brazil. Last year she shone at the World Championships in Greece, where she brought gold to Kazakhstan. At the world championship in the Italian city of Pula, the Kazakhstani became a silver medalist in the blitz discipline, losing only to Ksenia Balabaeva.
