The Council insists on the rapid adoption of the draft law on the completion of the Khmelnytsky NPP
In Ukraine, two power units of the Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plant need to be completed, which will give the country 2.2 GW of additional guaranteed capacity.
People's deputy Viktoria Hryb stated this.
“The enemy does not touch the nuclear plants themselves. Because this will already be a red line, which, if crossed, will result in a different attitude from international players. And I believe that yes, it is necessary to complete and, moreover, we are not starting from a clean sheet now,” she said.
Hryb added that the draft law on the completion of two power units of the Khmelnytsky NPP has already been submitted to the Council and approved by the specialized committee on energy and housing and communal services.
“I don't understand why he is not brought into the hall. There are currently no legislative obstacles. You can take it out, put it on the agenda and vote,” she emphasized.
