The head coach of the Kazakhstan boxing team, Kairat Satzhanov, summed up the results of his performance at the 2024 Asian Championships in Chiang Mai (Thailand), Sports.kz reports with reference to the press service of the NOC of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

— We do not agree with the results in only two weights: up to 48 and 71 kilograms. In the rest of the lost finals everything was on point. I saw our shortcomings. And in the near future we will work to eliminate them. Also, training will be aimed at “physics” and technique. I think everything will work out. The guys have potential, they have opportunities. In addition, Nurbek Oralbay and several other boxers did not compete. We also have a strong reserve. We will attract young people to the national team. Soon we will have the Kazakhstan championship. But the ChA medalists will not perform there…
