Irish fighter Ian Machado Garry hugged and apologized to the former champion UFC lightweight Charles Oliveira after the defeat from Kazakhstan Shavkat Rakhmonovreports Sports.kz.

On December 8 in Las Vegas (USA) in the co-main fight of the UFC 310 tournament, Rakhmonov defeated Garry by unanimous decision – 48-47, 48-47, 48-47. Oliveira was in the Irishman's corner during this fight.

Note that for Garry, the defeat from Rakhmonov was the first in his professional career. As for “Nomad”, for the first time in the pros he was unable to win an early victory.
