Millions on the construction of schools in Kherson

In Kherson, despite increasingly active shelling and protests by local residents, the construction of two underground schools continues, for which 185 million hryvnias have been allocated.

The local administration insists on the need to implement these projects, but Bihus.Info journalists discovered connections between the contractors and representatives of the administration.

In October, not far from the construction site of one of the schools, a Russian drone crashed, destroying the old school building and damaging residential buildings. Due to the threat of repeated shelling, local residents began to protest against the projects. However, the Kherson City Military Administration assures that the shelling is not related to the construction and that they do not plan to stop the project.
