A new law on renewable energy sources has been adopted in Ukraine
Ukraine is forced to change approaches to the development of the energy system and make extraordinary technical decisions during the war. To ensure its operation in the conditions of constant missile and drone attacks by Russia will allow, in particular, distributed generation.
Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko said this at the German-Ukrainian business forum in Berlin.
“We are changing approaches to energy in order to survive in the conditions of daily and massive attacks on infrastructure,” the minister emphasized.
According to the minister, active development of distributed generation is underway in Ukraine. Equipment such as gas turbines, gas piston units, and generators are being installed in the regions, which are currently operating in extraordinary conditions.
