How the Russians currently use the Kerch bridge: Pletenchuk told the details

Russia has determined Kerch bridge a priority object for protection – although the situation around the crossing remains “more or less stable”.

This was announced by the spokesman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, it was noticed that the Russian troops began to throw fuel tanks over the bridge. This was not the case before, Pletenchuk emphasized.

“It's a serious strain on this facility. Given the damage it's had before, it's quite risky. There were times when these tankers would sit for months and not be able to get onto the bridge. Because the main way they were being transferred was by ferries. But they didn't work thanks to our efforts. And, accordingly, they have a rather small choice,” the military officer emphasized.
