Supporting veterans is a shared responsibility of business, state and society, because there are already more than 3 million people with disabilities living in Ukraine, of whom more than 300 thousand have acquired this status since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

The Director of the Corporate Communications Department of Metinvest Group spoke about this at the event “Drivers of Change: Business for People and About People”, which was organized by the UN Global Compact in Ukraine and UNDP in Ukraine.

Davydenko noted that Metinvest does not indicate in vacancies whether they are intended for veterans, because the main thing is to create a unified ecosystem for all employees. At the same time, the company faces the challenge of creating a veterans' reintegration system that works, given that more than 10,000 of the company's employees have been mobilized during the decade of war.
