Statements by Fico – the head of the Slovak government dreamed of dividing Ukraine following the example of Czechoslovakia – UNIAN
According to the forecast of the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Ukraine will lose a third of its territory.
Western countries are tired of the war in Ukraine and may “sacrifice” part of its territory, as was done in 1938 with Czechoslovakia. This opinion was expressed by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico in an interview with the Brazilian publication Folha de S.Paulo.
According to him, the West decided to use “this conflict” to weaken Russia – in particular, sanctions were introduced against the Russian Federation, “billions of euros and dollars are flowing to Ukraine, a lot of humanitarian aid, a lot of weapons.”
“What is the result? The Russians are conquering more and more territories, sanctions are not working, and Ukraine is no longer strong enough for possible negotiations. If all this harms anyone, it will be Ukraine, because it allowed itself to be drawn into this adventure, which is no good.. .
