A man won the Spanish championship in the game, despite the fact that he does not know Spanish

He also previously won French titles in the same way.

A player known as the “Tiger Woods of Scrabble” has won first place at the Spanish Scrabble World Championship in Granada, despite not being able to speak Spanish.

This is reported by CNN.

Nigel Richards, a New Zealander who now lives in Malaysia, outscored 145 opponents to win 22 matches in a row.
Richards, the No. 1 player in the English-speaking World Scrabble Association, has been dubbed the “Tiger Woods of Scrabble” because of his nearly 200 tournament wins.

He won his latest title despite reportedly not even speaking Spanish.

“He is a man with very special, incredible abilities; he is a gifted boy,” runner-up Benjamin Olaizola told Spanish broadcaster Cadena Ser.
